Recommendations on the Use of the Probabilistic Safety Analysis in Assessment of Violations in NP Operation. (RB-104-25)

Rostechnadzor Order dated of October 22, 2025 No. 367 approved the Safety Guide in atomic energy use "Recommendations on the Use of the Probabilistic Safety Analysis in Assessment of Violations in NP Operation" (RB-104-25).

The mentioned Safety Guide contains the recommendations on the use of the Probabilistic Safety Analysis in assessment of violations in NP unit operation in view of safety, including severe accident precursors, and is recommended to be applied by operating, engineering and design organizations in the process of investigation of violations in a NP unit operation, by scientific and technical support organizations in analysis of information on the operating experience of a NP unit and in evaluation of the efficiency (sufficiency) of corrective measures in response to violations in the NP operation.

The recommendations of the Safety Guide cover NP units in operation, including those that were shutdown to prepare for decommissioning.

Rostechnadzor Order dated July 1, 2016 No. 281 "About Approval of the Safety Guide in Atomic Energy Use "Recommendations on the Use of the Probabilistic Safety Analysis in Assessment of Violations in NP Operation" shall be considered as revoked.
