Requirements to Design, Strength Calculation and Manufacturing of Core Elements for Lead-Cooled Reactor Installations. (NP-119-25)
On December 17, 2025 the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation registered the Order of Rostechnadzor dated August 20, 2025 No. 282, which approves the Federal Rules and Regulations in the Field of Atomic Energy Use "Requirements to Design, Strength Calculation and Manufacturing of Core Elements for Lead-Cooled Reactor Installations" (NP-119-25).
NP-119-25 establishes the requirements to design, strength calculation and manufacturing of core elements for lead-cooled reactor installations, aimed at ensuring of their integrity.
The requirements of NP-119-25 are mandatory for execution by operating organizations, as well as organizations performing works and rendering services in the field of atomic energy use in terms of design and manufacturing of core elements.
The Order of Rostechnadzor comes into effect on December 29, 2025.
