SOME OF THE RESULTS OF ANALYSIS OF HYDROLOGICAL MONITORING IN THE REGION AND ON THE SITES OF RUSSIAN NPPS

SBI «SEC NRS» for the first time in the last 25 years made a thematic analysis of the materials of the safety case for the hydrological monitoring in the regions and on the sites of nuclear power plants in Russia. Established violation of the requirement of continuity of conducting monitoring and the necessity of improvement of the system of hydrological monitoring and fuller use of their results in the materials of substantiation of NPP safety. Noted the importance of development of critical values of the controlled parameters on the basis of which should be granted timely recommendations on the implementation of technical and organizational security measures in case of catastrophic hydrological events, including floods, as well as drying areas in different climatic conditions.
