The article provides an overview of the changes that have been introduced in the current federal norms and rules in the field of nuclear energy use (NP-005-16) and which based on the results of updating of similar safety regulations in force before. These changes are based both on the recommendations and suggestions of IAEA IRRS Follow-Up Mission, held in the Russian Federation in November 2013, and the IAEA standards regulations concerning emergency preparedness and response in case of emergencies.
