The database of flaws in the metal of equipment and pipelines of Russian NPPs in operation was created by specialists of SEC NRS. The specified database allows to search for crack defects using various criteria query and may be used for determination of the most dangerous defects for the following safety analysis of the NPP’s equipment and pipelines with crack-like flaws and the background of formation and development of flaws. The example of using the database for failure possibility analysis of austenitic pipelines of RBMK, containing flaws, is given in the article.
