This paper considers the particularities of application of the risk-informed approach for the safety regulation of «nuclear legacy» facilities. The possibility of applying the safety and environmental detriment score in the capacity of one of the main risk factors is demonstrated by the example of special radioactive waste emplacement facilities and special radioactive waste isolation facilities.
