The analysis of meaning the term ‘unregulated chemical exothermic reaction’ is suggested. The distinction between terms ‘unregulated chemical exothermic reaction’ and ‘runaway’ reaction is determined. Some problems of estimating for fire and explosive hazards indexes are described.
