Methods of increasing the dynamic stability of power units with WWER-1200

Proposals are presented to improve the dynamic stability of WWER-1200 power units based on the results of commissioning tests during the commissioning of Novovoronezh NPP Unit No. 6. Optimization of control algorithms for modes with shut-off of condensate pumps, electric feed pumps, circulation pumps, as well as main circulation pumps with subsequent unloading of the power unit is possible by adjusting technological protections and interlocks.
It is noted that when the main standby equipment is turned off during the unloading of the power unit at the initial stage of the transition process, it is necessary to use accelerated preventive protection instead of a power limitation regulator for a softer transition. 
The main methods of increasing the dynamic stability of the WWER-1200 power unit are formulated.
