On January 19, 2018 the Safety Guide RB-137-17 “Structure and Content of a NPP Unit Reactor Plant Certificate” was put into effect.
The Safety Guide contains recommendations of the Federal Environmental, Industrial and Nuclear Supervision Service of Russia on the structure and content of the certificate for a NPP unit reactor plant, as well as on the sequence of preparation, issuance, introduction of changes, and storage of the reactor plant certificate.
The Safety Guide covers the NPP units in operation (under commissioning upon the construction).
The Safety Guide is intended for operating organizations and nuclear power plants, as well as for subdivisions of the authorized body for state safety regulation in atomic energy use related to NPP safety regulation.
The Order of the Federal Environmental, Industrial and Nuclear Supervision Service of Russia is No. 24 of January 19, 2018, which also cancels the RD-04-01-2005 “Provision on the Certificate of a NPP Unit Reactor Plant”.
