On October 18, 2016, in Moscow, on the territory of the All-Russian Exhibition Centre (VDNH) the 20th Anniversary International Exhibition of means for state security ensuring "INTERPOLITEX -2016" was opened.
The participants of the unveiling ceremony were: Mr. Oleg BOCHKAREV, Deputy Chairman of the Military and Industrial Commission of the Russian Federation; Mr. Valerij SEMERIKOV, Deputy Secretary General of Collective Security Treaty Organization; Mr. Aleksander GOROVOY, Police Colonel-General , First Deputy-Minister of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation; Mr. Aleksander MAKHONOV , Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation; Oleg KORSHUNOV, Deputy Director of the Russian Federal Penitentiary Service ; Mr. Alexander CHUPRIYAN, Deputy Minister for Civil Defense, Emergencies and Elimination of Consequences of Natural Disasters of the Russian Federation (EMERCOM); Mr. Sergey GORESLAVSKIY, Deputy Director General of “Rosoboronexport”, JSC; Mr. Sergey MARICHEV, Director General of Exhibition Company Group (ECG) “BIZON” as well as other representatives of different government entities (Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation, EMERCOM of Russia; Federal Security Service, etc).
In welcoming the participants, Mr. Aleksander GOROVOY noted, that the 20th Anniversary Exhibition is expected to be fruitful. “Everything that is demonstrated on the Exhibition will be thoroughly examined”, - the First Deputy-Minister of the Ministry of Internal Affairs said. – “In recent years the Ministry of Internal Affairs is heavily engaged in technical re-equipping. We are going to combine the devices already available in the internal affairs units of the Russian Federation and the modern products proposed by the manufacturers. In particular, taking the advantages of the achievements of the Russian Federation electronics manufacturing industry, four years ago the Ministry of Internal Affairs benefited from the comprehensive programme to introduce everything that the designers and manufactures implemented already. This is the principal contribution of the "INTERPOLITEX" Exhibition: the Unified system on informational and analytical support to the activities of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation and the automated workflow system are created; the Centre on information processing and Global Navigation Satellite System (GLONASS) are in operation; the private branch exchange (112) as well as the hardware and software complex “Secure City” and much more is completed.
Mr. Aleksander GOROVOY also thanked all organizers of this Exhibition and invited its’ participants to visit the special testing and shooting range in Krasnoarmeysk city (Moscow Region), where the live demonstration will be organized; and the potential customers will experience the operational characteristics and combat capabilities of military technical equipment and special equipment and devices developed in behalf of the law-enforcement agencies under the conditions of their practical application.
Mr. Oleg KORSHUNOV, Deputy Director of the Russian Federal Penitentiary Service, invited the participants and guests of the Exhibition to visit the specialized exposition of the Russian Federal Penitentiary Service “Capacities of the Manufacturing Sector of the Penal Enforcement System” organized in the frames of the "INTERPOLITEX". “This year – he informed, - the Russian Federal Penitentiary Service has reached the record number of the exhibition stands. We have presented the products samples, which are manufactured by the correctional facilities: automobiles based on KAMAZ and GAZ chassis, clothing and footwear examples for military men and divisions for special purposes, pieces of furniture, fire-fighting and emergency and life-saving equipment, food products and a lot more. Recently more than 800 subdivisions of the Russian Federal Penitentiary Service are involved in manufacturing of more than 100 thousand of different products throughout the country”.
Mr. Oleg KORCHUNOV informed that business relations are emerging between consumers, designers and manufacturers of the special equipment and armaments during this Exhibition. He said that this contributed to the improvement of technological equipping of the law-enforcement agencies. The Minister of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation wished the participants and guests of the Exhibition to enjoy successful work and establishment of new business contacts.
The exposition presented by “ROSOBORONEXPORT”, JSC, was not less impressive. “Enhancing the capabilities of the terrorists’ groups, globalization of the criminal formations in recent years have resulted in the increase of the interests of the majority of the world regarding the modern special equipment and armament designed to ensure national security. “ROSOBORONEXPORT”, JSC, is ready to offer the customers the broad range of devices to create effective counter activities at the national level.”- Mr. Sergey GORESLAVSKIY, Deputy Director General of “Rosoboronexport”, JSC, has informed. He also has expressed appreciation to the management of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation and this Exhibition organizers for their contribution in work.
Mr. Aleksander GOROVOY and Mr. Oleg BOCHKAREV have ceremoniously cut the red ribbon, which officially opened this event. Then visitors of the "INTERPOLITEX" exhibition got acquainted with the exposition.
This year the Exhibition is impressive by its scale of the work done: 463 companies take part and 53 exponents are presented from 11 foreign countries: Belarus, Belgium, Germany, Israel, Republic of Cyprus, Peoples’ Republic of China, Republic of Korea, Sweden, France and Republic of South Africa. The representatives from 62 defense and law enforcement agencies from foreign countries are going to visit these expositions.
Cars and armored vehicles, types of weapons and specialized machinery, robotics systems, unmanned devices, specialized communications, outfit, means produced by medical industry, devices for information protection and a lot more are presented among the exhibits. All new developments are of particular interest. Companies have presented more than one thousand samples of innovative products.
The exposition along with the business programme where the EMERCOM of Russia, the law-enforcement agencies and emergency services, the private security companies, producers of weapons, outfit, specialized devices and special vehicles will continue on VDNH until October, 21.
The organizers expect that the Anniversary Exhibition "INTERPOLITEX -2016" will be attended by the highest number of specialists and visitors - by more than 20 thousand of persons.
