He is a leading practical scientist in the atomic industry, specializing in the development of the scientific and methodological bases for regulating the safety of nuclear facilities. He made a significant contribution to the development of Federal Laws "On radiation safety of the population", "On atomic energy use", "On radioactive waste management", etc. He is a member of the Russian National Commission on radiological protection, as well as a member of the Scientific and Technical Councils of the MosNPO "Radon", State Corporation "Rosatom", FSUE" RosRAO", and of the Section of the Rostechnadzor’s Scientific and Technical Council. He has more than 100 published scientific papers. The member of the Editorial Board of the "Radioactive waste" journal.
