Accounting of Fast Neutron Fluence on WWER Vessels and Surveillance Specimens for Further Prediction of Vessels Radiation-Induced Residual Lifetime (RB-007-22)

The Safety Guide contains recommendations of the Federal Environmental, Industrial and Nuclear Supervision Service of Russia on accounting of fast neutron fluence with the energy of more or equal to 0.5 MeV (hereinafter to be referred to as the fast neutron fluence) on WWER vessels and surveillance specimens for further prediction of vessels radiation-induced residual lifetime.

The Safety Guide RB-007-22 covers WWER vessels and surveillance specimens, for which it is necessary to account fast neutron fluence for further prediction of vessels radiation-induced residual lifetime in line with the requirements of NP-084-15 and NP-089-15.

The provisions of the Safety Guide are recommended to be considered in the process of shaping of the operating organization requirements to accounting and prediction of fast neutrons fluence at reactor vessels in the course of nuclear facilities operation.

In this context, the Safety Guide RB-007-99 "Accounting of Fast Neutron Fluence on WWER Vessels and Surveillance Specimens for Further Prediction of Vessels Radiation Resource" (Ordinance of Gosatomnadzor of Russia No. 2, dated of April 21, 1999) shall be recognized as repealed.
